Objective: Design a poster for the 2023-2024 DMACC International Year
Timeline: August 2023 as a part of my Communication Design II class
Above are my initial sketches and moodboard for this project. The first thing I think of when I think "Scotland" is the bagpipes. After playing around with some different ideas, I decided I was going to incorporate bagpipes into my final poster.
Above is the final poster. I was inspired by old travel posters, and wanted to incorporate that look into this poster with the illustrated effect and bright colors. My poster was chosen to be distributed around all of the DMACC campuses for International Year 2023-2024
